Z -- REPAIR ELECTRICAL SERVICES, HANGARS SOL F10603-95-B0006 due 041795. POC Sgt Lori Landry, 208/828-2664/Cynthia A. Tortolano, Contracting Officer, 208/828-2664. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary to Repair Electrical Services in Hangars. Work consists of but not limited to: replacing electrical equipment to include transformers, service conductors and conduits, main power panels, feeders and branch circuit panel boards to current National Electric Code standards in 5 large hangars for aircraft. Project includes appropriate demolition to remove antiquated and obsolete equipment and repair the sites. Work will take place on Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The total performance period for this project is 210 calendar days after award. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Requests for solicitations must be in writing and include telephone number, zip-code (9-digit) and information as to whether your organization is a large, small or small disadvantaged business. The acquisition will be set-aside for SDBs; however, business concerns other than SDBs are invited to bid. If at time of bid opening, SDB bids are determined to be more than 10% above the fair market price (reference DFARS 219.502-2-70(a)(2), this acquisition will be converted to unrestricted. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 7 MAR 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Project requirements will be made available o/a 16 MAR 95.
