Z -- PRE-SOLICITATION - INDEFINITE QUANTITY ROAD REPAIRS AT THE NAVAL COMMUNICATION STATION, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA AND NAVAL RADIO TRANSMITTING FACILITY, DIXON, CALIFORNIA SOL N62474-95-B-3201. PRE-SOLICITATON: Elements of work include furnishing supervision, equipment, materials, labor and transportation required to provide road repairs at the Naval Communications Station, Stockton, and the Naval Radio Transpmitting Facility at Dixon, California. The work includes asphaltic work on roads, parking lots, railroad crossings and striping of these areas and incidental related work. Tentative issue date of solicitaton 10 Apr 1995 with a bid opening date of 11 May 1995. Only written request for plans and specifications will be honored. Request shall include solicitation number, title, company name, address telephone number, business size (i.e. large, small, small disadvantaged). Requests may be submitted by Fax (510)246-2433. Plans and Specificaton will be available on a "first come, first served" basis until supply is exhausted. This procurement is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB conce4ns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days after the date of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting officer above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition under the provisions of P.L. 100-656 Small Business Demonstration Program without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. The SIC code is 1611. If there is sufficient response from Small Disadvantaged Business concerns, plans and specifications will be issued to SDB concerns only. The related small business standard is $17.0 million. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Quantity (IQ) contract, the minimum quantity under this contract is $5,000.00 and the maximum is the total contract amount.
