The project consists of furnishing manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to repair damaged concrete retaining wall, replace two dock levelers, add dock leveler and flip ramps, repair and repave parking and driveway areas. Maintain gravel surfacing, after removal of existing surface, and until paving is completed. Work must be conducted in a manner which will minimize impact on postal operations. Project phasing is shown in contract documents. Due to critical timing, all asphalt paving must be done and completed by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 1995. Vehicular traffic must be allowed back on paved areas at 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 29, 1995. Contractor is to make special provisions for completing the work, which includes overtime, shift time, additional crews and equipment as necessary to meet the paving deadline. Extra costs shall be at the contractor's sole expense. There will be an informal walk-through on Thursday, March 16, 1995, convening at 10 a.m. in the customer parking lot at entranceto the building.
