The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code, for this project, is 1761 - Roofing, Siding and Sheet Metal Work. The size standard is $7 Million. The work includes replacement of existing roofing with new Built-up Roofing and incidental related work, including flashings, sealants, ductwork and drain modifications, and replacement of a skylight in buildings 660, 3040, 3044 and 24008. Requests for plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address or request may be sent via facsimile by using fax # (202) 433-0939. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212, First Floor, Plans and Specs Room of the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation for the Plans and Specs office is 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. There will be no charge of these documents, however, there will only be one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans/specs and bidders lists should be made separately to avoid confusion at the plans/specs offices. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations. Please note that the plans/specs will be issued on a ''first-come, first-serve'' basis. The projected date for issuance of plans and specifications is 13 March 1995.
