Task I - Expansion Joint Repairs, Banana & Indian River Bridges - The work to be performed in this task consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to repair the expansion joints in the bridges over the Banana and Indian Rivers at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The work consists of removing a portion of the existing asphalt overlay at each bridge expansion joint and repairing with polymer concrete and mortar and installing new expansion joints. The Indian River bridge is two bridges with 57 joints in each bridge. The Banana River bridge is a single bridge with 14 joints. The joints are approximately 9 meters long on each bridge. Task II - Bridge Decking Replacement, Banana River Bridge - The work to be performed under this task consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to replace the bridge decking on the bridge over Banana River at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The work consists of removing the existing 343.74 square meters (3700 square feet) riveted floor decking and replacing with new 5''4 Way Standard, ASTM A-588 steel, and hot-dip galvanized decking.--Plan to issue sol. pjg. on or about 3/20/95.--Magnitude of project between $500,000 and $1,000,000.--Period of performance is 330 days.--Point of contact for sol. pkg.
