The work consists of but not limited to installation of approximately one mile of 12'' water main. Installation of one water pressure booster station. Installation of 24 fire hydrants and auxiliary support. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1623. A tentative issue date of 13 March 95 is established to make documents available. All requests shall indicate business status as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Women Owned etc. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 05 April 95. This notification shall include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. evidence of capacity to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
