The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate this procurement with the McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, Cruise Missiles, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. McDonnell Douglas is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the Harpoon Weapon System and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
