The Rock Island Arsenal intents to obtain from borland International A firm fixed price, one base year software maintenance agreement with one option year to include thefollowing: Software maintenance to include all upgrades for dbase for windows on 350 copies, C++ for windows on 17 copies, SQL link for windows for 40 copies; documentation/manual for C++ for 17 copies; and site licenses for SQL link for 40 copies; training for dbase for windows at Rock Island Arsenal site for 8 hours for 12 users. Software maintenance shall include all upgrades for each software product. Training on dbase for windows shall be provided for 12 users for 8 hours at Rock Island Arsenal site. Topics for training will include dbase tools navigator (allportions), report writer, creating forms, creating queries, creatingtables, creating labels. Authority for other than full and open competition is provided through FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and NO other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Responses other than above source may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirement. To be considered an affirmativeresponse, vendors must submit data to demonstrate their ability to delivermaintenance/upgrades and provide training as required by the abovespecifications.
