ARPA intends to award a new contract to Russian-American Science, Inc., Falls Church, VA 22043-3529 to provide support for a R&D program to develop cooperation between American and Russian Scientific institutions. The intent of this effort is to leverage the Soviet investment in defense science and technology by identifying particular areas in which advanced developments in Soviet defense science and technology can be applied to solving particular problems facing US industry. The scope of this effort encompasses technologies including Material Sciences, Welding, Ship Design and Hydrodynamics. The contractor shall perform all tasks necessary to analyze and document technology transfer. See Note 22 (0055)
