The Research and Development Department, Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV), is seeking potential sources for the Main Charge Disrupter (MCD). The MCD function is to perform render safe procedures against a variety of unexploded ordnance (UXO) by attacking the main charge. Collateral damage shall be limited to that of low order reactions. This announcement does not guarantee that the government will issue a RFP for a MCD. Potential offerors should submit technical data (brochures, literature, specifications, etc) sufficient enough to enable Government evaluation of the product offered. All information provided to the government related to this announcement shall be considered government property.
