Nichols, Contracting Officer,AQCA (301) 227-2235 The Defense Mapping Agency requires a full coverage maintenance in support of the HYPERchannel system. This high-speed data link used for rapid transfer of batch-processed data, will allow the computers to share information regardless of difference in hardware. The system consists of adapters and interfaces to computers and to communications equipment, in addition to coaxial cable distribution system. This includes: remedial, preventive, per call, and principle period maintenance; field and engineering change orders; spare parts; and training. The system is in support of DMA's mission for producing and distributing tailored mapping, charting navigational and marine data and geodetic products. The period of performance is for one year plus three option years. Solicitations are voluminous.
