BXA West 1995 Resource Matching Program and the State of Utah's
Intermountain Technology Alliance will co-sponsor a Full-Day combined
``Technology Transfer: How to Access and Commercialize Federal R&D and
International Marketing Assistance'' Workshop. This workshop will
offer opportunities for defense related small-medium size businesses to
diversify into new commercial and international markets featuring
speakers from local agencies, and NIST's Advanced Technology Program
and ARPA's Technology Reinvestment Program, for grants. The Federal
Laboratories will have local representatives on hand to discuss
technology transfer opportunities in Environmental and bio-tech
industries. Federal and local representatives will also provide
international marketing assistance for defense and commercial exports.
Local small business executives who have successfully transitioned
into commercial markets will offer testimonials about their
experiences. Location: University of Utah, Olpin Student Union
Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. Time: 8:30am to 4:30pm. Cost: $25
