The American Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand, requires the operation and management of packing and crating services for the U.S. Mission in accordance with the statement of work in Section C of the RFP. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, management, administration and direct labor personnel to acomplish all work as required in this contract. Services will be performed in Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Udorn, and Songkhla, Thailand. Approximate current shipment requirements are : 2731 shipments for seafreight and 232 shipments for airfreight per annum. These requirements may be reduced somewhat depending on availability of funds in forthcoming fiscal years. A more accurate estimate will be shown in the RFP. Solicitation is for the initial contract period of July 1, 1995 through September 30, 1995, plus four-one-year periods at the option of the government.
