The USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) has a requirement for a contractor(s) to provide qualitative evaluations in two-seater P-51, F-104, MiG 15 and Mig 21 aircrafts, during two, 1 week training sessions each year at Edwards AFB CA. The contractor must possess the required aircraft(s) and qualified pilots who will occupy the rear seat during pilot evaluations and the front seat during Flight Test Engineer/Navigator evaluations. The evaluations will include both single and two ship open and closed loop flight test techniques and operational handling tasks. Each session, for each type aircraft, will last 5 days with 14 flight hours per session. Additional flight hours and days may be requested through the use of requirements type CLINs. The contract will be for a basic period of performance of 3 years, with two 1 year options. Sources may propose on any combination of the aircraft service requirements. Multiple contract awards will be considered. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside using SIC code 8299 with a size standard of $18.5 million.
