CA, at the U. S. Coast Guard Station. The project consists of:
Demolition and relocation of three small storage shacks, construction
of one 1144 GSF building complete with electrical, mechanical, and
energyusage control systems, paving of access roads and parking lot,
exterior utilities, fenced open storage area, and compound fence work.
The estimated cost of construction is between $250,00 and $500,000.
This project is not a set-aside. SIC Code 1542.Bidding packages,
including the plans and specifications will be available at a fee of
$20 per set. Bid packages must be ordered in writing with a check or
money order made out to ''U.S. Coast Guard'' at the address above. The
fee is NONREFUNDABLE. Bidpackages will be available on or about
03/13/95, with a bid opening in mid-April. Time and place of bid

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to
assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to
acquire short-term working capital and bondingassistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract.The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on
the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available
under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates
to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line ofcredit is
