Project consists of constructing an automotive crafts skill development center to include nine automotive bays; two bay token wand car wash with detail facility; oil water separator for floor drains of shop and car wash; dedicated machine shop area; classroom/instruction area; interior restrooms; parts resale area, and controlled tool issue area; storage for major rebuild parts; employee/customer lounge/vending area; and six foot high masonry wall for visual screening. Supporting facilities include all required utilities, information systems, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking and landscaping. Heating is by self contained units using natural gas. Air conditioning is by evaporative coolers. Access for the handicapped will be provided. Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 - - Bid sets available at $22.25 for half-size and $39.75 for full-size. No individual sheets of half-size drawings may be purchased.
