required delivery of 4 each to Stockton, CA, 8 each to Sierra Army
Depot, 6 each to New Cumberland, PA, 8 each to Commanding Officer,
Marine Corps Logistics Base, and 6 each to Texarkana, TX anticipated
delivery is 360 DACA. This procurement requires prequalification. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the agency. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One
Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed
contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have
specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition;
however, it is restricted to approved source(s) Bell Helicopter
Textron, Inc., P.O. Box 482, Fort Worth, TX 76101-0482, and Kaydon
Corp, 2860 McCracken St, PO Box 688, Muskegon, MI 49443. The time
required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery
cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms are
encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future
soliciations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the
