Blasting grit other than what is requested., or variances of sieve sizes over 80 grit fine particles are not acceptable. Previous history has shown that grit material with higher sieve sizes was too fine for end application. Abrasive blasting grit, coal slag, I.A.W. MIL-A-22262B, dated 5 April 1993, size 40, QPL 22262-17, dated 21 May 1993. Award will be a one (1) year requirements type contract. Annual requirement of 200-300 tons of size 70 grit and 3000-4000 tons of size 40 grit is estimated. Material safety data sheet is required with each delivery. Services will be implemented through individual delivery orders. Delivery is to be made by a pneumatic tank truck.
