263-95-P(GE)-0108 is hereby changed to 263-95-B(GE)-0108. The
Government has decided to conduct a competitive procurement. The
National Institutes of Health requires a magnetic Resonance Imaging
(MRI) Scanner on a per scan basis. The MRI shall be enclosed in a
mobile trailer not using more than 48 foot/14.63 meter x 8 foot/2.44
meter area. The MRI shall not have fringe area. The MRI shall have a
0.30 to 0.35 tesla magnet field strength. The MRI shall have a patient
area of at least 20 inch/50.8 centimeter verical x 78 inch/198.12
centimeter horizontal magnet gap. The contractor shall provide adequate
time and materials to fully train up to 3 operators on the MRI. Upon
completion of the training, the operator(s) shall be able to operate
the MRI to the full extent of its capabilities. The MRI shall operate
from an existing 480 volt, 3 phase, 200 amp power source. The MRI
