sought to provide steel boxes that have been designed with accessory
equipment and interior cushioning material. The box interior must be
cushioned enough to enable fragile hazardous materials packagings
inside of the box to survive Department of Transportation
performance-oriented packaging based on a procurement conceptual
design. Once the packaging design has been fabricated, passed required
testing and certified, steel boxes per design will be subject to
ongoing competitive procurements. Organization must have demonstrated
experience and capabilities of previously successful designing,
manufacturing and testing of packagings specifically for hazardous or
radioactive materials. Interested organizations must submit detailed
and concise information demonstratng their ability to meet all the
requirements specified in this notice. Any organization that does not
submit detailed information demonstrating their experience to provide
a hazardous materials packaging as specified will be means for
excluding them from the prospective bidders lst. Expressions of
interest must be in writing to the attention of Beverly F. Johnston,
G1-66. Responses are to be submitted no later than 30 days after
publication of this notice. Westinghouse Hanford Company will not
