A -- TECHNICAL SUPPORT IN THE FIELDS OF STRUCTURAL ACOUSTICS, ACOUTIC TECHNOLOGY, AND ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS TOWARDS RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, TEST AND EVALUATION FOR VARIOUS SUBMARINE AND SURFAC SOL N00167-95-R-0063 POC Contract Negotiator: Maryanne Golling (301) 227-3451, Contracting Officer: Elaine D. Weschler (301) 227-1696. The Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement to support the TUBA, SSN21, New SSN, RCS, ISMS, RIMS, and other high priority programs. The general scope of work falls under the following sixteen categories: TUBA and other signature measurement technical program planning support; TUBA and other signature measurement program management analytical support; TUBA and other signature measurement system logistic planning, engineering, analyses and documentation; Logistical technical data documentation support; TUBA and other signature measurement system program test and evaluation; Program planning, management support, and analyses; Support facility, planning, operation, and equipment and systems maintenance; Data system analysis and support; Technology base research and development program analysis and documentation; Technical program management support; Acoustic and signature reduction material design; Acoustical data analysis support; Monitoring system support; and Sonar system model development support. This technical support is for the Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bethesda, MD and its sites. 630,000 hours of labor are estimated to be required over a five year period with a staffing of approximately 46 personnel. A Department of Defense security clearance to the DOD secret level will be required for the contractor's facilities and all personnel. Offerors' who do not currently possess a facilities clearance, or personnel who do not possess a clearance must demonstrate that they can obtain a SECRET clearance within 60 days of contract award. RFP will be issued on or about 3 April 1995 and closing approximately 45 days thereafter. It is anticipated that award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract will result from this competitive solicitation.
