Hickman (Site Code DODAAC) Drilling services are required for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the states of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee. The purpose of the drilling and sampling work is to determine the type, nature, and characteristics of the subsurface materials and the extent and conditions of the various materials as they exist to the depths and at the locations specified. The contract will primarily be used for installation of geotechnical instruments, pumps, and pipes; sampling for subsurface geotechnical investigations pertaining to foundations, hydrologic studies, hazardous and toxic waste sites, and water wells. Some portions of the work may be performed while using Personnel Protective Level ''C'' (PPL) equipment and procedures. This procurement is for a base year and two one- year options.
