F -- CLEAN CLOSURE OF A WASTE DISPOSAL AREA Sol. 2982U0015-8M. POC: Alison Bailey, Contract Administrator, 505-665-3900. The University of California, Los Alamos National Laboratory requires technical support services to accomplish the clean closure of a waste disposal area (MDA-P) in accordance with a Closure Plan approved by New Mexico Environmental Department to meet New Mexico Hazardous Waste Regulations and RCRA. To achieve closure the entire waste pile, including hazardous and nonhazardous waste and soil, will be removed. During closure the waste will be characterized as the pile is removed. The primary requirement for successful performance of this closure is knowledge and experience working with a variety of common and exotic high explosives. Must have experience in successful remediation or Decontamination and Decommissining (D&D) of HE contaminated facilities. Please submit a letter of interest within four weeks of the date of publication to be considered for receipt of a solicitation document.
