The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland proposes to acquire on a cost plus fixed fee, level of effort basis, Air Traffic Control and Landing System Technical and Engineering Support services for the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Maryland. The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Division, is the Technical Manager, Field Maintenance Agency and Software Support Activity for air traffic control and landing system (ATC&LS). In accordance with these assignments, the ATC performs the following functions: system certification; logistics support; technical assitance; test and evaluation; equipment refurbishment and overhaul; test data acquisition, reduction and analysis; field change design and installation; software design change and installation; hardware and software development and maintenance; configuration and quality control; training support; and program and project management. The contractor shall provide technical services in the aforementioned areas for the various systems under ATC Division's cognizance. The required services encompass a range of functions for one year with four one year options. The contract anitcipates the use of approximately 140,000 years. The proposed solicitation has been determined to be an ''unresticted requirement.'' The closing date is for estimating purposes only and may be revised as indicated in the request for proposal (RFP). All requests for copies of the soliciation are preferred to be submitting in writing to the attention of 2.6.2.2BP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
