SERVICES--Abstract and Title Services are required for a fixed price type contract for the Buford-Trenton Irrigation District Project, Williston, North Dakota. The Government contemplates award of a fixed price type contract for Abstract and Title Services for approximately 80-100 properties. The services to be provided will include abstracts or updates to existing abstracts, preliminary commitments, updated commitments, final policies, copy fees, tax certificates, and recording services. The properties are located in and around the Buford-Trenton Irrigation District along the left bank of the Missouri River about 15 miles from Williston, Williams County, North Dakota. The Government intends to acquire the tracts of land by easement estate. Title companies which are listed as approved by the United States Department of Justice or underwriters for approved title companies will be considered qualified to render the services required. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is o/a 21 March 1995 with a bid opening date of o/a 25 April 1995.
