COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 1,1995 PSA#1293FEDERAL LAB TECHNOLOGIES FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN MANUFACTURING The U.S.
Small Business Administration's Office of Veterans Affairs, the Naval
Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division and the Ben Franklin
Technology Center of Southeastern Pennsylvania are sponsoring a
technology transfer conference for small Business in manufacturing.
This conference will highlight technologies from the Federal Labs
applicable to the manufacturing. This conference will also provide
information on business development programs available to small
businesses and veterans. The technologies presented at this conference
pertain to: (1) Advanced Manufacturing, such as Manufacturing
Technology Program, Machine Tools and Robotics, (2) Materials, such as
Advance Composites, Innovative Forming Technologies, Specialty metals,
(3) Green Manufacturing (environmentally benign technologies), such as
Alterative Process, Recycling methods, Waste Minimization, (4)
Information Technologies, such as Training & Simulation, Diagnostics
Systems, Integrated Design Systems and (5) Flexible Manufacturing
Processes. This conference is planned for Monday, March 27, 1995 at the
Sheraton, University City, Philadelphia, PA. DoD Agencies (Army,(Navy
and Air Force), DoE, NASA and EPA will provide technical presentations
for this conference and will be available to meet individuals
one-on-one. State and regional economic development agencies from
Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware will also be participating in
