Services are required for Ground Maintenance, Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Work consists of but is not limited to weekly mowing of lawns, trimming around trees and shrubs, fences, monuments, flagpoles, walls, buildings; trimming of trees, and shrubs; raking and removal of trash and mowed cuttings; edging around curbs, concrete, walls; weed control; mowing of weeds; and removal of trash and mowed cuttings. Lawn care is estimated at thirty-nine (39) acres. Weed mowing is approximately five hundred fifty eight (558) acres. Mowing the weeds in the areas specified will provide firebreaks to minize the hazards of a range fire within a twenty-seven (27) square mile area. Areas covered are depicted in the statement of work and drawings incorporated into the solicitation Period of performance is the base year (estimated to be 01 May 1995 through 30 September 1995) and three (3) one year option periods.
