Offeror shall provide all services, personnel, materials, audio visual
aids, training aids and travel and lodging to revise/update the
existing student courses materials and instructor teaching materials
and administer and present courses of instruction entitled
''Architectural Hardware - Specifications'' and ''Architectural
Hardware - QV''. The offeror shall provide an instructor team which
shall not exceed four instructors for Architectural Hardware
Specifications course. This course develops skills oriented to
specifying or approving builder's hardware used in building
construction by specifying or approving builder's hardware used in
building construction by the Corps of Engineers. This course covers
current industry practices and specifications, problems involved in
scheduling hardware, and effective quality assurance. This session will
consist of 36 hours of classroom instruction. Course location, date and
session number is: Session 95-01, 19-23 June 1995, Cincinnati, OH. The
offeror shall provide an instructor team which shall not exceed four
instructors for Architectural Hardware - QV course. This course
develops new skills oriented to the quality verification of hardware
used in building construction and updates the student's knowledge of
current industry practices and changes in specifications. It also
provides training results in a more effective quality assurance. This
session will consist of 36 hours of classroom instruction. Course
location, date and session number is: Session 95-01, 17-21 July 1995,
Huntsville, AL. Technical evaluation criteria will be set forth in the
solicitation shall be obtained by written request without cost. One
set of the course material may be obtained from this office at a cost
of $45.00 (non-refundable). Payment will be made by certified check,
cashier's check, or money order payable to: Finance and Accounting
Officer, USAEDH. Telephonic request will not be honored. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the agency. The Standard Industrial Code applicable to this
procurement is 8999. For the purpose of the solicitation, any concern
whose gross annual receipts over the past 3 years do not exceed an
average of $5,000,000 is considered a small business. Contractor must
furnish business size with written request (i.e., large business, small
