Z -- REPAIRS TO SPILLWAY AND DOANE HILL ROAD BRIDGES, TULLY LAKE, ATHOL, MASSACHUSETTS SOL DACW33-95-B-0054 DUE 050495 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The Spillway Bridge is a concrete arch bridge located over the Tully Lake Dam spillway. Repairs include removing 3,000 s.f. of 3 inch thick bituminous concrete pavement from the bridge deck and replacing it with a 9 inch thick portland cement concrete deck slab. The work also includes miscellaneous concrete repairs and repairs to both steel beam and cable type guardrails. The Doane Hill Road Bridge is concrete slab over steel stringer construction. Repairs at this bridge include removing 240 l.f. of wooden bridge rails and replacing them with steel tube rails, 100 s.f. of concrete spall and miscellaneous concrete repairs, and repairs of approach cable type guard rails. Work includes, cleaning and painting the structural steel. The original paint contains lead based primer. Estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 033095 at a cost of $12.00 per set.
