47 -- PLUMBING SUPPLIES SOL DAKF40-95-B-0040 DUE 042295 POC Contract Specialist, BOB DRISCOLL EXT 225, (910)396-4362 The U.S. Army, Fort Bragg, NC has a requirement to provide miscellaneous plumbing supplies for delivery during the period 1 July 1995 through 30 June 1996. A requirement type contract is anticipated and quantities will be estimated. Required items include, but not limited to; Copper Adapters, Sewer Augers, Sewer Cables, PVC Cement, Couplings, Diaphragms, Elbows, Faucets, Wax Gaskets, PVC Pipe, Thread Sealant Compound, Solder, Teflon Tape, Copper Tubing, Copper Pipe, Compression Type Unions, Valves, and Valve Stems. Time specified for receipt of bids is estimated, actual bid opening date will be included in the solicitation. Due to automation of the bidders mailing list, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the mailing list. It is, therefore, required that all requests for a solicitation package include the vendor's business size. For determining the business size the following is provided: To be considered a small business (SB) under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes 2842, 2891, 2992, 3052, 3084, 3423, 3432, and 3494 a firm, including its affiliates, must have an average employment of less than 500 employees during each of the pay periods of the preceding 12 months. To be considered a SB under SIC Codes 3351 and 3356 a firm, including its affiliates, must have an average employment of less than 750 employees during each of the pay periods of the preceding 12 months. To be considered a SB under SIC code 3312 a firm, including its affiliates, must have an average employment of less than 1000 employees during each of the pay periods of the preceding 12 months.
