The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure three (3) console systems, one system for production control and two systems for mobile production units (trucks). The systems shall be of modular design, with each input channel and output accessory on individual modules, and utilizing a mainframe with meterbridge and combination of these modules. There shall be one pair of meters for stereo program output, a second pair of meters for stereo audition output, and a switched meter for each submaster output. Switched meters shall also monitor levels for the AUX send busses and internal mix-minus bus. All meters shall be lighted. All audio inputs and outputs are to be brought out to XLR-3 pin cable connectors (male for output, female for input), on cables 6-foot long. The console systems dimensions shall not exceed: thirty-nine inched width, twenty-six inches depth and seven inches height above counter. The console system for the production control room shall have twenty-four module slots, and shall be provided with a studio timer, power supply, and the following module compliment: two each mono mic/line inputs, eighteen mono line/line inputs, two each dual mono submaster modules with AUX send bus masters, one each master PGM/AUD bus output module w/dual mono faders, one each control room module, card extender kit and rackmount test set (external to console system). The console systems for the mobile production units (trucks) shall have twenty-four module slots, and be provided with studio timer, power supply and the following module compliment: sixteen mono mic/line inputs, four each mono line\line inputs, two each dual mono submaster modules w/AUX send bus masters, one master PGM/AUD bus output module w/dual mono faders, one each control room module, one each card extender kit and one each rackmount test set (external to console system). Funds are presently unavailable for this acquisition, however, the requirement is included or provided for in the installation financial plan for fiscal year 1995.
