Offerors are advised that a conventional solicitation will not be issued for the ABDAR acquisition, however, the solicitation will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce Business Daily. Solicitation and contract award will be in accordance with the Research and Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures as announced and amended in the Federal Register, Volume 59, Number 200, Tuesday, October 18, 1994. A supplemental package, containing the Statement of Work and Data will be issued to those Contractors on the source list concurrent with the RFP release in the CBD. Those firms who previously responded to the synopsis need not formally request the supplemental package. Other interested sources must request the supplemental package in writing. Contact with the technical program office is permissible until RFP release in the CBD. ABDAR is a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside acquisition. RFP release in the CBD is estimated to be mid-March 1995. (0059)
