C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES, NAVAL AIR STATION/NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, PATUXENT RIVER, MARYLAND Sol N62477-95-D-3036. The Officer in Charge/Office in Charge of Construction is currently seeking sources for mechanical/electrical services with associated multi-discipline architectural/engineering support to prepare plans specifications and cost estimates for bidding or negotiated procurement for various construction projects at the Naval Air Station/Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD; Naval Air Station, Solomons Annex, Solomons, MD; and Naval Command Control and Ocean Surveillance Center in Service Engineering Detachment (NISE EAST). Mechanical/Electrical work will include heating, ventilating, air conditioning, fire protection, interior/exterior electrical distribution and plumbing. The estimated construction cost of a typical project is between $25,000.00 and $500,000.00. The contract will be for an indefinite delivery type where orders will be placed on or ``as needed'' basis intermittently for a period of time which shall not exceed 12 months or $250,000.00 whichever comes first. Individual fees for any one project may not exceed $99,000.00. The proposed contract will contain an option to extend the contract for an additional period of one year. If exercised, the A-E will receive official notice at least 60 days prior to the end of the first year. Each project will be a firm fixed price A-E contract. The guaranteed minimum forthe basic award is $12,500.00. The estimated award date is May 1995. Selection evaluation criteria will include: (1) Recent specialized experience of the firm in mechanical/electrical services required; (2) Professional qualifications of the firm and staff proposed for performance of the projects; (3) Capability to accomplish projects within required time; (4) Location of the firm in the general geographic area of the projects to be assigned, provided an appropriate number of qualified firms respond therein; (6) The firms Quality Control program and practices; (7) Firms capability to produce system compatible with SPECINTACT format and plans on a system compatible with AutoCADD. Each firms past performance(s); and performance ratings will be reviewed during the evaluation process and may effect the selection outcome. Architect-Engineer firms which meet the requirements listed in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Forms 254 and Standard Forms 255, U.S. Government Architect-Engineer qualifications, to the office shown above. Only firms responding to this announcement by close of business on the 30th day from the CBD publication date will be considered.
