L -- TECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF TRIDENT II MISSILES POC Barry Rothenberg, Code, SPN-22, (703) 607-0820. The Strategic Systems Programs requires technical engineering services for materials, structural design, mechanical systems and environmental testing in support of TRIDENT II Missiles. The effort shall include, but is not limited to technical engineering services for the evaluation of missile structural design and materials selection, environmental testing programs for missile subsystem packages graphite/epoxy manufacturing and product assurance program plans, missile Service Life Evaluation and Aging Programs and propulsion, electrochemical power and thrust vector control subsystem designs. RFP N00030-96-R-0004 will be issued on or about 15 April 1995 with an expected closing date 45 days after release of the RFP. The period of performance will be for a term of one year with up to four one-year option periods. All requests for the RFP must be in writing. Security Clearance will be required of all offerors.
