M -- CONCESSION CONTRACT SOL GLCA017 POC Contact Mr. Victor Knox, Facilities and Concessions Management Division, (602), 645-8331 Public notice is hereby given that the National Park Service proposes to negotiate a Concession Contract with the Arizona State Department of Economic Security which will require and authorize it to continue to provide vending stand facilities and services for the public at the Carl Hayden Visitor Center within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area for a period of up to five (5) years from January 1, 1996, through December 31, 2000. This Concession Contract has been determined to be categorically excluded from the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act and no environmental document will be prepared. By the authority granted by the Randolph-Sheppard Vending Stand Act of June 20, 1936, as amended by Section 4 of the Act of August 3, 1954 (68 Stat. 663; 20 U.S.C. 107), the Secretary shall negotiate the Concession Contract without soliciting for competitive proposals.(0059)
