At this conference experienced small business specialists representing the United States Air Force will present briefings on topics and programs with which all small business contractors should be more familiar. These Air Force professionals will also be available to discuss potential business opportunities with the Air Force. As an added bonus, there will be a session on Tuesday, March 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Marriott Pavilion for contractors with no, or limited, Government or Air Force contracting experience. This session is a basic ``primer'' of the Government contracting process that will explain basic contracting terms (acronyms, policies, procedures) and is designed to maximize the benefits a beginning contractor can gain from attending the March 29-30 conference. There will be no extra charge should you decide to attend this session. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Marriott Pavilion Hotel at 314-421-1776. Reference the Air Force Small Business Conference. The special group rate is $101 (including taxes), single or double. If you have questions or want to obtain the conference flyer and registration form, call the conference coordinators, the Latin American Manufacturers Association (LAMA), Mr. Chris Cyrway, at 1-800-522-6623.
