Yankle tel: (410) 966-0392 The Social Security Administration (SSA) is planning to issue a full and open competition Request for Proposal (RFP) to purchase 400, 3-number automatic dialing courtesy telephones for placement in the reception areas and lobbies of various SSA field offices and other selected locations throughout the United States. The vendor will be responsible for programming 700/800 numbers (designated by SSA) into the automatic dial telephones. These telephones must be programmable; compatible for both modular desk and wall jacks; have amplified hand-sets; have a wall mount bracket; and lastly, have the standard 12-character ''numeric keypad. All responsible sources may submit an offer. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. This competitive RFP is scheduled to be issued on or about March 27, 1995 with bids due 30 days thereafter.
