(Existing software, Story Teller 1.5 by BTG, requires a Sybase SQL server to run. Other database servers are incompatible). 1 ea, 17200 SQL Server P/B/8 and support, 8 ea, 17200 SQL Server P/B/1 and support, 8 ea, 17200 SQL Server S/B/1 and support, 8 ea 17290 Open Server P/B/1 and support, 8 ea, 17290 Open Server S/B/1 and support, 1 ea, 17230 Open Client Developers Kit P/B/1 and support, 1 ea, 98111 Technical Support and 5 Days Training. The above software is to be supplied in CD-ROM media and will operate in an UNIX environment. Delivery is required 30 days after award. Support to be provided will consist of 2 parts: 1. Regular Support which consists of Telephone or ''Hot Line'' Support and includes 5 student class days at Sybase designated facilities. 2. Annual Update Service comprised of maintence and new feature releases of the software. Length of support for 1 and 2 is 1 year for date of award. This procurement is being made under the authority of 40 U.S.C. 759(g), as amended. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vender and all firms that respond to the synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
