For information on this procurement, call Mark Pollack (810) 574-5021 The U.S. Army tank-automotive and armaments command is requesting proposals to provide A complete upgrade of its physical simulation laboratory. This effort will in volve significant revisions to the existing turret moti on base simulator and A new ride motion simulator. The major tasks will be: (1) A computer generated imagery system to provide real-time visual and audio simulations of complex urban and battlefield scenes; (2) A ride mot ion simulator to fundamentally simulate A wide range of Army vehicles and courses; and (3) upgrades to the exis ting turret motion base simulator including A new controlling computer system, hydraulic system improvements and an audio subsystem. The period of performance for the contract will be one (1) year. Estimated release date : 15 Mar 95; estimated closing date: 15 may 95.
