pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a Market Survey to identify sources with
the capability to provide On-Site, and Per-Call Contractor Logistics
Support (CLS) of Intelligence Information Processing and Production
(I2P2) equipment and, Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software,
including firmware. The I2P2 equipment is comprised of approximately
14,000 end items of COTS computer equipment, including but is not
limited to local and wide area networks, video systems workstations and
peripheral equipment. This equipment, composed of items provided by
approximately 481 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), is employed
in a variety of intelligence applications at more than 200 sites
located in the United States and ten foreign countries. Availability of
contractor support range from moderate at per-call sites to extremely
time critical which requires the contractor to be on site, depending on
the specific application being supported. Contractor personnel must
possess a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and be
eligible for Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) access before
admittance will be granted to a site. The contractor shall be required
to accomplish all levels of software and remedial maintenance required
to maintain I2P2 equipment and software in good operating condition in
accordance with the OEM specifications. Performance includes but is
not limited to the following: 1.) On-Site maintenance of fixed site and
deployable equipment, 2.) Contractor deployments with deployable
equipment during site exercises or in crisis situations to include
shipboard deployments; 3) Central Site/Remote location maintenance; 4)
Per-call maintenance; 5) Technical Services; 6) In-Plant repair of
Government spares; 7) Remote Diagnostics Services; 8) Maintenance of
Documentation/Diagnostics used to support the maintenance effort; 9)
All tools/test equipment shall be contractor furnished; 10) Contractor
shall provide all spares. The period of performance will be a five
year period consisting of a basic one-year contract period and options
to extend for four one-year periods. A solicitation does not exist at
this time. This survey if for information and planning purposes only
and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal
and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
Respondents to this notice will be sent a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW)
and a Contractor Capability Summary Sheet. U.S. Contractors must
provide approved DD Form 2345 with their request. Contractors may
obtain a DD Form 2345 Certification by contacting Defense Logistics
Service Center, at 1-800-352-3572. The extent of foreign participation
has not yet been determined and the release of information will be
determined at the time of release. Written responses should be mailed

small business are encouraged to participate in this survey. All
responses must be received no later than thirty (30) days from the date
