M -- OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF AN AIR-TAXI SERVICE POC Jack Fitzgerald, (805) 658-5717. The National Park Service is seeking parties interested in operating an Air-Taxi Service for Fixed Wing Aircraft from Santa Barbara Airport and/or Oxnard or Camarillo Airports located in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties in Southern California. The operation will go to Santa Rosa Island, one of five islands located within Channel Islands National Park. The island is located 30 miles south of the main island across the Santa Barbara Channel. Once on the island, visitors will have an experienced guide tour by the National Park Service. The island is comprised of approximately 54,000 acres. This operation will conduct business under a concession permit.
