It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide residing of 21 duplex units, 43 single car garages and the Commanding Officer's unit with cedar shake and clapboard siding, remodel front entrances and replace back vestibules, install decks and atrium doors, install outside lighting, painting, staining and incidental related work complete and ready for use at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Cutler, East Machias, ME 04630. All requests must be in writing; telephone requests will not be honored. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of adequate bonding capacity, capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns (e.g., small business, large business, etc.) as well as from the SDB concerns. Estimated cost range $250,000 - $500,000.
