Specific demolition work items include: removing the existing generator and shipping it to the Corps of Engineers in Waltham, MA: removing the 50 gallon fuel tank and appurtenances: removing the asbestos-insulated exhaust system: and removing the flexible asbestos radiator ductwork connection. Also an existing 275-gallon diesel fuel tank is to be cleaned and refilled with fresh No. 2 Heating Oil. New items to be installed include: a 100 KW generator set: an insulated exhaust system: a flexible connection for the radiator ductwork: a window mounted intake louver: and a 25-gallon fuel tank. Estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be completed within 90 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 032295 at a cost of $12.00 per set.
