The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Information Handling Services for a CD-ROM media subscription for Industrial Standards that includes detailed paragraph-level document outlines which allow the user to find precise paragraphs, tables or figures, and expand or condense the outline so that the user can zero-in on the precise sections needed; and both cross reference to available vendors manufacturing the item(s) and identify commerical specifications when given Federal Specifications or vice versa. Must also have a 300dpi scan rate, zoom feature, and meet MIL-R-28002, ''Raster Graphics Representation of Binary Format, requirements For.'' Also included must be the ability to download to a floppy disc or hard drive and into Wordperfect. The subscription must also be updated as the Industrial Standards are modified/upgraded. There is a list of thrity-two (32) Industrial Standards that includes but is not limited to the following: ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, ANSI-Construction, ANSI-Mechanical, ANSI-Electrical & Electronic, API, ARI, CTI, Pipe Fabric Institute (PFI), UL, GSA and Federal Specifications.
