A firm fixed price, requirements type contract is expected to result from this solicitation. The Government has a requirement for the delivery of three 5000 gallons of test fuel. The blend shall consist of 70% Aviation Alkylate and 30% Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE). Each blend shall be tested in accordance with the procedures in ASTM D-4814 and ASTM D-2700. The Government estimates an additional requirement for up to four more 5000 gallon blends. (This estimate is not a representation that the additional requirement will be required or ordered.) The first 5000 gallon delivery shall be required 60 calendar days after award with delivery of the other two 5000 gallons and the estimated additional requirement over a 2-year period.
