Study to identify the optimum configuration of future tactical communication networks and their interface into commercial Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks for a global communications capability. Assess the potential implementations of Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA), ATM and Wireless Land Mobile Survivable Secure Communications Networks (WLMSSCN) protocal service. The use of DAMA tri-band terminals (C1 X1 Ku) and means of use for speakeasy like multimode multiband radio elements of WLMSSCN are to be evaluated. Potential SSCN experiments are to be identified during the course of this study effort. The role of network managment and control must also be identified. The RFP will be released no sooner than fifteen (15) days from CBD publication.
