COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 6,1995 PSA#1296ADVISORY GROUP FOR AEROSPACE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (AGARD): The
Sensor and Propagation Panel (SPP) of AGARD will hold a Symposium on
``Environmental Factors in Electronic Warfare Related to Aerospace
Systems'' from 8-11 May 1995 at Pratica di Mare Air Force Base, Rome,
Italy. This symposium will address important environmental aspects of
aerospace sensor technology to include propagation path obstacles,
attenuating elements, and electronic/optical countermeasures and
counter-countermeasures. Specific topics to be covered include a survey
of threat and electronic warfare scenarios for aerospace systems,
relevant environmental effects, environmental control, aerospace system
aspects, advances in environment-oriented electronic warfare analysis
and modeling, and environmental aspects of emerging electronic warfare
concepts. This symposium is classified NATO SECRET. For further
