SOL N62472-95-R-0302 DUE 041095 POC Contact Point, ANTHONY TETI, (610)595-0643, Contracting Officer, JERRY CHAPMAN, (610)595-0626 This project will include: crack filling & sealing of bituminous pavements, removal of bituminous pavement & base in spot locations, removal/cold-milling of existing bituminous surface, replacement of base & bituminous pavement, bituminous pavement overlay, construction of new base & bituminous pavement, removal of deteriorated portland cement concrete pavement to partial depth in spot locations, removal of portland cement concrete pavement to full depth, crack & joint sealing of concrete pavement, removal & resetting of aircraft mooring eyes in concrete pavement, removal of deteriorated catch basin inlets, provide new catch basin inlets, construct new catch basin inlets, joint sealing of steel plate inlays at the north & south arresting gear installations, airfield paint removal & restripping, and any other incidental related work. Of particular note in regards to this effort is the provision for approximately 144,000 SY of bituminous paving of aircraft runway including milling and overlay. The 144,000 SY of bituminous paving must be completed during the period of 14 August 1995 to 13 September 1995. A total of 5 months inclusive of the above mentioned period will be allowed for completion of the entire contract. Source selection procedures will be used. Offerors will be required to submit technical proposals in accordance with the requirements of the RFP. The technical factors are: technical approach, personnel, corporate experience, plant & equipment, and management plan. The RFP (solicitation) will be available on or about 10 April 1995. Also, there will be a pre-proposal conference meeting on or about 18 April 1995 at the NAS, Willow Grove, PA. The SIC code is 1611 and the size standard is $17.0 Million. Total estimated cost is between $1,000,000 to $2,500,000. This procurement is unrestricted. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first-come first-serve basis.
