Finnigan Corporation is the only known manufacturer of an ion trap that meets the following minimum mandatory requirements: chemical ionization; negative ion capabilities; solid probe capability; integrated autosampler; automatic gain control of ion intensity; mass range up to 1000 amu; ion injection; and a fully integrated data system. Following negotiations with Finnigan Corporation a contract will be awarded for one (1) Finnigan MAT GCQ GC/MS/DS ion trap with the following compatible accessories: one (1) A200S Auto Sampler; one (1) 1.5 Vial Tray; one (1) NIST Library; one (1) HP LaserJet IV; one (1) Upgrade to GCQ Tandem; one (1) Ion Gauge; one (1) Vacuum Probe Interlock; and one (1) GCQ Extended Field Installation.
