The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command plans to award a contract for a wide range of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware and software products. This requirement includes desktop and notebook computer systems, peripherals, warranty maintenance, and hotline support. Support would be required for the conduct of business at Government offices, primarily within the U.S. Navy, worldwide. A fixed-price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration for contract award. The contract will provide microcomputer systems to support general purpose applications within the DON. Systems acquired will be used to execute DOS based software applications currently in use in the Navy or DOD-wide, on a large inventory of microcomputers. There is a requirement that not less than 10% of each award be performed by Small Business; 5% is for Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 2% for Women-Owned Businesses, with the remainder for any other Small Businesses.
